Carol's Accesorios

Starting a business is hard. Starting one across cultures is harder. If it weren't for the blessing of working alongside honest, dedicated Salvadorans, I'd never have tried it here. Our marketing manager is fully bilingual, and while I'm the techie who speaks more Python than Spanish, the warmth of the people makes the gap worth crossing.

Carol's Accesorios sells fine jewelry at a fair price, out of genuinely beautiful shops — their newest, in Metro Sur, is cute and approachable, with a lot of thought behind the look and feel. We were lucky to sit down with Carol, make our pitch, and earn the chance to help modernize how the business runs. Josue and I were proud to gain their trust.

What we did:

  • Assisted in setting up their ERP. Getting product categories and the products themselves into the system took some untangling, but it's running. Leveraging Odoo's online documentation proved invaluable.
  • Refreshed the brand. A visual identity manual, plus a free marketing strategy for the new Metro Sur branch.
  • Wrote their Internal Work Regulation (ITR) with legal support, so the team has clear ground rules.
  • Leveled up their Excel, including a scheduling template they can maintain themselves.

It was a good project. Carol now has an organized inventory and a more coherent brand across social media, and their quick feedback made every step easier. We're glad to be part of their growth — and on the lookout for more partners who want to build something that lasts.
